Introducing the Super Rod SRIR. The IR Link provides an alternative method to link line and neutral on any circuits protected by an RCBO or AFDD

The IR Link is a high strength magnetic link for Insulation Resistance testing of Line and
Neutral to Earth on RCBO protected circuits that contain sensitive equipment
IET Book - Guidance Note 3 - Inspection and Testing Chapter 2.6.7:
For Insulation Resistance testing BS7671:2018+A2:2022 permits the test voltage
applied to circuits following connection of equipment to be reduced to 250 V DC,
provided that cables were tested at 500 VDC prior to connection

Following connection of equipment that might be damaged by, or influence, the test, a test at 250 V DC is to be applied between live conductors and the protective conductor connected to the earthing arrangement
